NOTE: All printers should be sold by Rezku. Non-Rezku TM-U220 printers are notorious for being inoperable with our system, as different POS companies use different firmware options.


Quick Info

  • Uses standard bond paper rolls
    • Can use 3 different sizes of paper roll, Rezku uses the largest 3" or 76mm (or 150")
  • Uses a replaceable ink ribbon
    • Prints in black and red
    • The ink will fade as the ribbon runs out
  • The font size is not customer configurable

Clear network settings/Factory reset:

  • Turn off printer.
  • Use a paperclip or ball point pen to hold in the SW Reset switch.
  • Keep holding in the reset switch while turning on the printer.
  • Keep holding in the reset switch with the power on.
  • In about 5 seconds the printer will print out “DO NOT TURN OFF PRINTER”.
  • It is now OK to let go of the SW button. A few seconds later it will print a factory reset confirmation.
  • Turn off and on again to return to normal mode.

Perform a self-test:

  • Turn off the TM-U220
  • Hold the Feed Key
  • Turn on the TM-U220
  • The Self-Test will start to print
  • Release the Feed Button
  • After the first page prints, optionally press the feed button for one second to print a second page to test print quality
  • Turn off and on again to return to normal mode.

Print a Status Sheet (With MAC Address):

  • With the Printer already on, hold down the SW switch
  • In a few seconds the status sheet will print
  • This will have the IP address of the printer (if it's on the network)
  • And the MAC address which is required when choosing a printer for the POS
  • Turn off and on again to return to Normal Mode
