Pro Stand

The Pro Stand is an all-metal frame with backplate and stand combo.

The sizes it currently comes in (published late 2022):

• iPad 10.2 (Gen 8/9)
• iPad Pro 12.9 (Gen 3/4/5)

This stand is used for stationary POS registers and does not feature an integrated card reader. Countertop card readers such as the tDynamo or eDynamo are used.

Pro Stand Assembly

The stand comes in two boxes, the frame with backplate in one box and the lower stand base in another.

After unboxing, follow these steps:

1. Remove the plastic covers on the lower stand base.

2. Use the 4 flat-head screws from the box with the lower stand base to attach the backplate to the stand.

3. Make sure the V-Shaped cutout on the backplate is facing to the right.

• Run the charging cable for the iPad through the center cutout to the right and into the V-shaped channel.
• TIP: Secure the cable with a small piece of scotch tape to keep it in place when attaching the frame.
• NOTE: Be sure to use a sufficiently long iPad charging cable to reach your desired power outlet location. The one included with the iPad is quite short.

4. Lay the iPad, face down into the frame, with the charging port facing the large cutout in the frame.

5. Set the backplate over the frame "sandwiching" the iPad.

• Make sure the charging cable is not pinched, it should be able to move freely if it is not taped.

5. Secure the backplate to the frame using the 4 or 6 (depending on size) flat-head screws included in the box with the frame.

6. Plug the charging cable into the iPad

7. Replace the plastic covers on the lower stand base, routing the cable as shown in the video.

Adding the CFD

You can add a customer facing display to the Pro Stand. The CFD mount supports iPad Mini (Gen 4/5).

The CFD mount and compatible iPad are a seperate purchase.

CFD Mount Assembly

To Assemble the CFD Mount:

1. Lay the mount face-down

2. Insert and loosely tighten two of the screws on the left side of the mount

3. Lay the iPad Mini face-down into the mount (the charging cable can run in either direction)

4. Insert the 2 forked mounting brackets at an angle, under the lose screws on the left side to secure the iPad Mini

5. Tighten the 2 the lose screws

6. Insert the remaining 2 screws and tighten to secure the right side of the brackets.

Mount/Stand Compatibility

Depending on the size of the Pro Stand the mounting locations for the CFD are different.

• For the iPad 10.2 stand the top two screws for the backplate must be removed to mount the CFD.
  • 2 Allen-head screws will be included in your shipment, supplied by Rezku
• For the 12.9 stand, it attaches to the backplate with screws included in the box with the CFD mount.
