Pizza Products

Pizza Products are a unique type of product in Rezku POS, specifically designed for the complexities of ordering pizza. Pizza Products are created in Back Office and, when available, introduce a unique order flow that is described in this document.

Ordering Pizza

Ordering a pizza is very similar to other products in Rezku POS, with the added function of a half & half (or quarters) builder.

Whole Pizza Builder:

To build a "whole" pizza:

• Tap a Pizza Product in the menu to open the product builder.
• Select the size (variant)
• Select any required modifiers that don't have a default selected (indicated with an asterisk)
• Change any default modifiers by tapping the modifier and selecting "remove" from the popup.
• Add additional modifiers by tapping them.
  • Adjust topping amounts: For modifiers with amounts enabled; tap the modifier and select "Light, Regular, Extra".
• Your product configuration appears in the builder preview on the right side of the screen.
• When you have completed the build, tap the "Finish" button to add the pizza to the order.

Half & Half Pizza Builder

To build a pizza "half and half":

• Follow the steps for the whole pizza, above but do not tap "Finish"
• Tap the Half & Half button on the right, above the build preview.
• Along the top of the builder there are now three buttons:
  • Whole -- This tab contains only those properties for the pizza that are not configured by half (e.g. size and crust type).
  • First Half -- Side 1 starts with the selections made in "Whole" mode. Configure your selections for the first half of the pizza.
  • Second Half -- Side 2 starts with the selections made in "Whole" mode. Configure your selections for the second half of the pizza.
• When either First Half or Second Half are selected, modifiers (toppings) only apply to that that half of the pizza.
• When either First Half or Second Half are selected, you can replace that entire half of the pizza with a specialty pizza by tapping the Choose Pizza button on the right.
  • The available selections are based on the pizza products saved in the system.
• If you want to revert from half and half to whole, tap the Make Whole button on the top right.
  • The currently selected side will become the whole pizza.
• When you have completed the build, tap the "Finish" button to add the pizza to the order.

Tap the Half & Half button to switch from Whole to Halves.

In Half & Half Mode, Whole has properties without halves enabled. Select each half to modify the toppings.

To select a different pizza for the active half, tap Choose Pizza. You can choose from any saved pizza on the system.

To revert your pizza from half to whole, tap the Make Whole button. The currently selected half will be the whole pizza.
