Ordering With Variants

Variants

Variants allow you to choose a version of the main product. The price of the product is based on the variant. Variants can also change the price of associated modifiers. This is especially applicable to conversational ordering with Pizzas, if the customer changes their mind about what size to get.

NOTE: The modifier matrix for the product must be set up in Back Office > Product Management > Menu Design 


Variations are required and must be selected to add the product to the order.

  • Tap a product that has variants

  • In the customize product window select the Variant and any required modifiers

  • Change the variant if needed, and the modifier prices will adjust on the POS automatically.
