What is CRM?

It is your customer relationship management database. It's simply where all your customer profiles and contact information are stored.


Add a Customer to an Order

On the POS, tap the customer button at the top of the order builder. Or you can tap the More button at the bottom left of the order builder and then "Add Customer".


In the "Add Customer" screen start filling in the customer's information. If they are a new customer you will be creating a new record for them. If they are an existing customer the search bar will show matching results.


When a customer is added to the order they can earn/spend loyalty points and their order history will be saved to their account.


Add a customer to an order with the +Customer button if its available. Otherwise, tap the More button at the bottom left.


Enter the customer's information. Auto search shows matching results.


Customer profiles save lots of data about the customer. Tap save in the top right to add the customer to the order.


When the customer is added, their name appears at the top of the order builder.


Tap coupons and rewards to see what promotions the customer's order qualifies for.


Select the promotion to apply it to the customer's order. If points are required, they will be spent.

Customer Loyalty Points

Customers can earn points and spend points in the form of rewards. Managers set up points and rewards in Back Office > Promotions > Loyalty


Earning Loyalty Points

Points are earned when a points-earning product is added to a customer's order. To earn the points, the customer must be added to the order before checkout.


To add a customer to an order:

  • Tap the +Customer button above the order builder.
    • If the shortcut has not been added, you can also tap the More Button and then Add Customer
  • Enter the customer's profile information or select a search result for an existing customer
  • Tap Save to save the selected customer to the order
  • Their name will now appear on the order and they will earn points for any qualifying products.


Coupons and Rewards

  • Add a customer with a qualifying number of points to a new order.

  • Add an eligible product

  • When auto-apply is turned on, the discount is automatically applied.

  • If auto-apply is not enabled, the available discounts appear under the “Rewards” button, which will turn gold to indicate qualifying rewards are present.


TIP: If the Add Customer option is not visible it can be accessed on the POS by tapping More > Add Customer To Order. To always show the customer bar go to Back Office > Settings > Order Settings and select the toggle for “Always Show the Customer Bar on the Order Screen”.

One-time Discount

A  one-time discount (coupon) can be added to a customer on the POS. This is useful for customer satisfaction or bounce-back rewards. It can only be used with coupons that have coupon codes.


  • Search for the customer on the POS, and tap the One-time Discount button in their profile.
  • This will display a popup with all coupons that have coupon codes in them.
  • Select a coupon to apply to the customer for use ON THEIR NEXT VISIT.



The next time that customer comes in, the POS will attempt to redeem the coupon code (requires internet connection). If redemption is successful then the coupon will be added to the order.

Note: One time discounts are designed for use on the customers next order, if you add a one-time discount from the customer profile screen and then immediately tap "New Order", the coupon will not be added to the order. If you intend to give the customer the discount on their current order, don't use this feature. Apply the coupon as you normally would to their current order.
