Rezku CFD Hardware Setup

Introduction

The Rezku Customer Facing Display (CFD) displays the guest’s order, for them to view before payment. It’s like a virtual receipt.

The CFD will display the Guest’s order including modifiers, cost per item, subtotal, tax, and total.

Additionally, when the screen is not in use by customers it can display a custom slide show to use as a digital advertising display.

Using the CFD

Guests can also choose to leave a tip when paying with a credit card.

Guests will also be able to sign for the credit card right on the CFD screen.

Not all customers want a receipt, or at least a paper copy. With the Rezku CFD let them choose from a printed paper receipt, digital emailed receipt, or no receipt at all.

Configuring the CFD

To access the CFD settings within the CFD app, tap and hold on the Rezku POS text in the bottom right of the CFD screen for FIVE seconds.

In the settings menu, you can see the IP address of the CFD, as well as the display name. If multiple CFD’s are in use, make sure to give each one a distinct name.

To connect your CFD to the POS, tap the gear icon in Rezku POS to go to settings. Under “connections” at the top, you’ll see “Configure CFD”. Tap to see a list of available CFD devices on the network.

This will bring up the CFD configuration page, tap on Choose CFD

This will bring up a list with all the names of CFD’s on the network, select the one desired to be connected to the Register.

The POS should connect to the CFD and push the configuration that was created in the Back Office (covered in next section).

Success!

NOTE: You can have multiple CFDs and POSs but you can’t have more then one CFD connected to a POS or multiple POS’s connected to a CFD.
