POS Bluetooth Settings

Bluetooth Connection Settings

NOTE: Do not use the iPad's Bluetooth for any "non-Rezku POS purposes", for example, listening to music.


In the Rezku POS app, tap the Gear icon to go to settings. The connections status indicator tells you if the iPad's Bluetooth connection is enabled.


NOTE: Green indicates that Bluetooth on the iPad is turned on and permission is granted, not necessarily that any Bluetooth devices are connected to the POS app.



Managing Bluetooth on iPad

Setting POS app Bluetooth Permission:

  • Go to the iPad's Settings app
  • Scroll the settings on the left and tap on the Rezku POS app icon
  • Make sure Bluetooth and LAN permission are turned on



Turning on iPad Bluetooth:

  • Go to the iPad's Settings app
  • Tap Bluetooth
  • Enable Bluetooth



Which hardware connects to Bluetooth from iPad settings?

  • Bluetooth enabled thermal printers

  • Socket Mobile Barcode Scanner

  • Some legacy bluetooth card readers


Which hardware connects to Bluetooth through Rezku POS?

Some new hardware uses the low-power bluetooth standard and connects through the app rather than iPad Settings.


  • MagTek eDynamo card reader (Legacy)
  • MagTek tDynamo card reader (Legacy)
  • Adyen NYC-1


NOTE: If these card readers need to be cleared from the system, you will need to disconnect in the Rezku app settings AND forget the device in iPad bluetooth settings.
