Gift Cards



How to Load, Check, and Redeem Gift Cards

At the bottom of the Order Builder Tap the More Button.



On the More Screen you'll see the Gift Card Section.



Add/Reload

Add/Reload is used to activate new cards or add additional funds to an existing card.

  • Tap Add/Reload button

  • Swipe the card or type in the number  from the back of the card

    • Tap Continue

  • Enter the amount to load onto the card

    • Tap Save

  • The amount entered has now been added to the order as a product awaiting payment

  • The dollar amount added to the card will not be applied to the gift card balance until checkout is completed


Check Balance

Check Balance is used to check the current balance on the gift card. You can also view the transaction history.

  • Tap Check Balance
  • Swipe the card or enter the number from the back of the card
    • Tap Continue
  • The current balance is displayed
    • Scroll to see additional card history



Cash Redemption

Cash redemption is used to cash out the remaining balance of the card when it is under $10.

  • Tap the Cash Redemption button
  • Swipe Card or type in number
  • Confirm redemption and the cash drawer will pop open.
  •  Remove the cash from the drawer and hand it to the guest


Paying with Gift Cards at Checkout 

  • At the checkout screen, tap Gift Card as the payment type

  • Swipe the card or type in the number from the back of the card

    • You will see a Transaction Complete notice

  • When enabled, Gift cards may require you to enter a tip amount (even if that tip is zero), just like with credit cards.




NOTE: Refunding a transaction that was used to purchase a gift card DOES NOT remove the value from the gift card. Once a card is loaded, the balance of the card remains until it is spent.
