The "More" Button

The Order Management "More" Button

Under the More Button you'll find additional functions that can be used to manage an order.


From the New Order Screen, at the bottom of the Order Builder, Tap the More Button.




The "More Screen

On the More Screen you will see all the available functions, split into four sections.

Order

  • (Order) Discount -- Tap to apply preset and custom order discounts.
  • Custom Item -- Create a custom product that is not in the menu.
    • Make sure to apply taxes and a print queue to the product if needed. They are not applied automatically.

  • Seats -- Add seats to an order. Seats can be added to any order. 

    • The number of seats reflects the party size in reporting.
  • Start Bar Tab -- Tap to start a bar tap that can be used when the guest checks out.
    • Insert a card to pre-authorize and hand back the card.
  • Party Size -- Set the party size. Used in reports as "cover count".
  • Gratuity -- Add a preset or custom service fee to the order.
    • Presets are set in Back Office > Settings > Tip and Gratuity Settings.
  • Tax Exempt -- Remove any taxes applied to the order.
  • Notes -- Add order notes that will print to the kitchen.
  • Add Customer -- Link a CRM customer to the current order.
  • Fees -- Manually apply any fees set up in Back Office > Settings > Fees
  • Set Limit -- This setting prevents the current order's subtotal from exceeding the set limit. This is useful in scenarios where the guest has pre-paid for service.


Manage Order

  • Cancel -- Cancel the whole order.
  • Transfer -- Transfer ownership of the order to another server.
  • Merge -- Merge another ticket into the active order.
    • The merged ticket will close with the status "merged".
  • Clone An Order -- Clone a previous order to a new order.
  • Force Settle -- Force-close an order stuck in an error state. Tips can still be changed for force-settled orders
  • Split Order -- Split items from the current order onto a new order.
    • After splitting you can select the current order or the new order for additional management.

Products

  • Edit Multiple -- Manage multiple products in the order including resending to the kitchen, voiding and discounting groups of products.
  • Send By Course -- Print only the products to the kitchen that are assigned to the specific course.
  • Fire -- Send a "Fire" notice to the kitchen to start preparing the next course.
  • Send Times -- View when products in an order were sent to the kitchen. NOTE: Send times do not precisely reflect print times. Print time is subject to device availability.

Gift Cards

  • Add/Reload -- Add funds to a new gift card or an existing gift card.

    • Enter the number from the back of the card or swipe the card.

  • Check Balance -- Check the gift card's remaining balance and view previous transactions.

  • Cash Redemption -- Cash out the remaining balance of a gift card if it is under $10.


Additional Details on Edit Multiple




From the More Screen, tap Edit Multiple. From here you can manage multiple products rather than one-by-one. This improves the experience when dealing with large tickets.

Select products in the order by tapping them. You will see a green check mark next to the product name. You can also use the Select All and Deselect All buttons at the top of the product list on the left.

Actions

These are the actions you can perform on the selected products.


Send -- Sent or re-send the selected products

Move -- Move allows you to move the selected products to another seat. The order must have seats.

Void -- Void the selected products

Discount -- Apply a product discount preset or custom preset to the selected products

Transfer -- Move the selected products from the current order to another open order

Rush -- Send a RUSH notification to the kitchen for the selected product(s). This appears on the KDS when utilized.


Filter

Filters are used to show only those products that match the filter requirement. This is handy for managing large orders. Filters may be based on:


Clear -- Clear all selected filters

Seat number -- Show only those products on the selected seat(s)

Course -- Show only those products in the selected course

Menu -- Show only those products in the selected menu
