Manually Update SKDS App on Viewsonic VSD Display

Since this display does not support the Google Play Services, we must Install

/Update the SKDS Manually.

The Viewsonic VSD will need an internet connection for the below method (see alternative USB stick method if needed)

Load ES File Explorer - this app comes pre-installed on the Viewsonic VSD

In the navigation pane on the left side, goto Tools --> Download Manager. Tap on the + New button in the bottom left.

Type http://download.rezku.com/skds/skds-latest.apk for the Path and tap Download Now

After the download finishes tap Open File

ES File Explorer should open the app and offer to install. tap on Install

ES File Explorer needs permission to install unknown Apps. If needed a window will pop up taking you to the Settings to toggle the permission on. Do so if necessary.

Install the SKDS App by tapping Install in the bottom right corner

You should get a checkmark saying the App is installed, tap Open in the bottom right corner.

Alternative USB Stick Method

Use a USB stick on a computer or laptop formatted FAT32

Download the SKDS App from http://download.rezku.com/skds/skds-latest.apk

Put the SKDS app on the USB stick, safely remove it, and plug it into the Viewsonic VSD Display, the USB ports are located on the left edge.

ES File Explorer should load automatically, in the left side navigation goto Local --> USB****

Navigate to the SKDS .apk on the usb stick and tap on it. Follow the instructions to install/update.
