Splitting Orders and Payments

Splitting Orders and Payments

Splits

Splits are used when:

  • A party dines together and they want to pay separately
  • A single guest has multiple payment types.
    • For example, gift card and credit card

Four Kinds of Splits and When To Use Them

Split Order

Split Order is found under the More Button at the bottom of the Order Builder.

  • Use Split Order when you want to remove products from one order and split them off to an entirely different order.
  • Use Split Order when a party comes in and appears they will dine together but people start to split off or leave before the entire group is ready to pay.

To perform an order split, tap the Split Order button and select the items to move to a new order.

  • Tap Save to create the new split order.
  • You will be asked if you want to stay in the current order or open the new order.
