Advanced Product Properties

Click a product to see the Edit Product Properties menu. There are many additional settings that can be configured for created products.

Edit Basics

Click here to modify the basic properties for the product:

• Name -- Product name as it appears on the POS and online
• Price -- Price on the POS and default price online
• Cost -- Enter a cost for product to reflect in reporting
  • Use Ingredient Cost -- Calculate cost using assigned ingredients in inventory
    
• Free Toppings -- Enter the number of free toppings that can be selected.  (NOTE: Free toppings must be enabled for modifier groups to be eligible)
• Parent Menu -- Where the product is located in the menu. Move the product by selecting a different parent menu.
• Reporting Category -- Which category sales of this product are reflected in for category sales reports.
• Available for Online Ordering -- Check to enable this product for online orders.
  • Online Price -- Enter a different price for sales online. If blank, the default price is used.
  • 3rd Party Price -- Enter a different price for 3rd party app sales. If blank, Online Price or default price is used.
• SKU -- Enter a product SKU number. For use with some integrations.
  
• Calories -- Enter total calories for this product.
  
• Kitchen Printer Text -- Alternative text for the kitchen when this product is printed.
• Barcode Number -- Enter a barcode number for use with optional barcode reader accessory.

Edit Appearance

Click here to modify the product tile's appearance. You can change the color or add and image.

• Set POS Photo-- Upload an image to use for the product tile on the POS.
• Hide Product Name -- This toggle hides the product name from the tile
• Set Detailed Photo -- This image is used with the pinch to zoom feature to show details about the product
• Set Color -- Click the color chip to modify the tile color
• Set Online Photo -- Set a photo for online ordering. You can choose an image from your computer or from the stock library, or from the icon library. If no photo is selected it will default to the POS image.

Setting Product Photos

Product photos can appear on the POS or online.

• Stock -- Allows you to choose from the library of stock images included with Rezku
• Upload Photo -- Select a photo from your computer
• Remove Photo -- Remove an uploaded product image

Stock Image Library

Click the Stock button to browse the large library of professional images available for your menu.

• Browse the categories by clicking the category or sub-category name.

• To go back, click the breadcrumb above the images in the category.
• Enter keywords in search at any time. You can search by multiple keywords.

• Click Preview to view an image at a larger size.
• Select the image and click "Save" to select.

Edit Modifiers

Click here to select the modifiers applied to the product. Use the toggles to apply or remove a modifier group to the product. Click the modifier group name to expand. From here you can select default modifiers for the product.

NOTE: Default modifiers are pre-selected and always come on the product unless they are removed on the POS. Default modifiers do not appear in the order. However, when a default modifier is removed on the POS it will say "NO [modifier]" indicating the substitution for the kitchen.

Edit Printers

Click here to add this product to one or more existing print queues. Select the toggle next to the print queue name. When this product is "sent" on the POS, it will print to the selected queues.

Edit Ingredients

Click here to set ingredient consumption. Once you have added ingredients to your system, you can come here and input how much of the ingredients are used when this product is sold.

• Use the search box at the top to look up ingredients by name
• You can also add an ingredient on the fly by clicking "Add Ingredient"
• Name -- The name of the Ingredient
• Amount -- Enter the amount used by this product
• Unit -- Set the unit for the amount

Edit Recipe

Click here to enter a recipe and instructions for the kitchen. This is used with the Rezku Smart KDS App to provide a quick reference for cooks when the item is ordered.

• Enter the recipe as plain text or copy and paste from your recipe document to save time
• Add a photo by clicking the Upload Photo button and choosing an image from your computer

Edit Variants

Click here to set the prices for product variant groups. Variants are similar to modifiers but affect the base product price, typically based on size or amount.

• Select the variant group for the product (max 1)
• Use the toggles to enable or disable a variant for the product.
  • This is used when a particular size is not available for this product
• Enter the price of the product variant
• Enter the SKU (optional)

Modifier Matrix

This setting is used to set modifier prices based on variants. Most often this is used for Pizza toppings, to set the toppings prices based on the size of the pizza.

• Variations must be set up for the product first (Edit Variants)
• Modifiers must be applied to the product first (Edit Modifiers)
• Select the variation from the drop down menu
• Enter the price of the applicable modifiers when this variant is selected.

Edit Happy Hours

Click here to edit the price of this product during your configured Happy Hours.

• Use happy hour settings to set up happy hours for products
• Later, you can quickly adjust the happy hour price for this product here

Edit Tags

Click here to add or remove tags from the product. Tags are used in the Sales By Tag report.

• Use the toggles to enable or disable a tag for this product

Edit Taxes

Click here to apply your configured taxes to a product.

Edit Loyalty Points

Click here to include this product in an existing loyalty program

• Use the toggles to enable or disable a loyalty program for this product

Edit Discounts

Click here to include or remove this product from a created product discount preset.

• Use the toggles to enable or disable a discount preset for this product

Edit Components

Click here to set the components for the product. Components are base ingredients cooked in batches in the kitchen. Components are used for the "All Day" feature on Rezku Smart KDS. Typically this is used for the grill and the fryer stations.

• Name -- Component name
• Quantity -- Number of components used

Edit OLO Upsells

Click here to set upsells for products when ordered online. There are two kinds of upsells that can be added to a product.

• Product Upsells -- After a product has been added to the customer's cart, suggest additional products frequently ordered together.
  • Product 1-3 -- Choose up to three products in the menu to recommend.
• Modifier Upsells -- Suggest a modifier add on for the product (eg. Add Bacon)
  • Modifier 1-3 -- Choose up to three modifiers attached to the current product. Only modifiers for modifier groups attached to the product can be selected.

Edit OLO Dietary Tags

You can add dietary and other tags to OLO products to help customers make choices and be aware of potential allergens. There is no limit on the number of tags that can be selected.

• Check the box next to tags you wish to add for the product.
• Tags are pre-set and cannot be customized.

When tags are added, they appear as additional information on the product when viewing online ordering. A key also appears at the bottom of the menu when tags are applied.
