In Order Settings you set up the order types that are used on the POS and various options related to how orders are handled.
Set Order Types
To set up the available order types on the POS, click the View Order Types button.
In the Order Types list there are default order type presets already created. To edit or delete an order type, click the Edit Details button next to the order type name.
To add a new order type, click Add Order Type at the top of the screen.
In Edit Order Type panel:
Name -- Enter the name of the order type as it will appear on the POS
Default -- When enabled, this will be the default order type for new orders on the POS. NOTE: There can only be one order type set to default.
Input Type-- The input type determines the kind of order type this will be. Depending on the selection, additional options may appear.
None -- No ticket label, no input type
Text -- Plain-text ticket label
Number -- Numerical ticket label TIP: Can also be used with auto-numbering on the POS
Customer -- CRM customer name labels the ticket. Additional customer information can be included.
Pickup -- Pickup order type uses CRM to attach a customer to the order and specify pickup time. Pickup orders appear on the Pickup tab in To-Go Orders on the POS.
Delivery -- Delivery order type uses CRM to attach a customer and their address to the order and specify delivery time. Delivery orders appear on the Delivery tab in To-Go Orders on the POS.
Table -- Table order type uses the floor plan to manage orders. You must have at least one floor plan created in Back Office > Floorplan Designer. TIP: Contact Rezku Support for assistance with building floorplans.
DoorDash -- DoorDash order type uses the DoorDash Drive service and assigns the order to a driver in the DoorDash network for delivery. NOTE: Contact Rezku for details on enabling DoorDash
Print Fields-- Select additional CRM fields to print on the order tickets for this order type. NOTE: This option is only available for order input types that use CRM.
Name -- Customer name from CRM

Address -- Customer address from CRM
Customer ID -- Customer ID from CRM (blank if unassigned)

Text -- Add a text label to the order in addition to the customer name
Number -- Add a number label to the order in addition to the customer name
Requires Covers -- When enabled, party size must be entered on the POS for orders of this type.
Add Seats to Order -- Automatically add 2 seats to every order, even those without a table assigned. This saves the user from using Party Size or Seats manually. If you use the Floor Plan to set a table, the order will automatically have assigned amount of seats per that table.
Tip Entry Type -- Defines how tips are entered for orders of this type on the POS, with tip-enabled payment types. An example use case for this is when the same POS station is used with multiple order types. For example, phone orders (guest not present) and counter service orders.
Default-- Tip presentation for this order type is based on how the POS is set up:
If a CFD is in use, tip entry is routed to CFD.
If AMS1 card reader "Use for signature and tip" is enabled, tip entry is routed to the AMS1.
If "Sign on iPad" is turned on tip entry is displayed on POS screen.
Print and Sign -- Always print a credit authorization slip for the guest to write tip and sign
CFD -- Present tip option on a connected CFD
Sign on POS -- Present sign-on-screen prompts on POS. If AMS1 card reader "Use for signature and tip" is turned on, on-screen prompts will be presented on AMS1 card reader instead.
Customer Not Present -- When customer is not present and the tip is not entered on the POS.
Setting the Order Type Color
You can choose a color for order types that will appear on the POS. When in POS > Orders > Tile View, a small bar of the corresponding color appears under the order tile.
Select one of the available preset colors from the pallet, or "no color".

This setting has two options that determines at which point of the checkout process orders from this order type are sent to the kitchen.
Checkout -- Food prints to the kitchen when the Checkout button is pressed on the POS (before payment is made).
