Online Ordering Settings




Here we have various order-related settings for your Rezku OLO website and online ordering in general. There are 5 tabs along to top of the settings window.

  • Order Types -- Enable/disable available online order types
  • Online Delivery Setup -- Set up online delivery options
  • Tableside Settings -- Set up scannable QR-code ordering for contactless tableside orders.
  • Order Time Settings -- Set the default pacing, prep and delivery time for orders
  • Ordering Options -- Choose how online orders are handled on the system


Order Types

In Order Types panel:

  • Enable In-Store Pickup -- When enabled, online orders can be set to "pickup" type by guests
  • Enable Online Delivery -- When enabled, online orders can be set to "delivery" type by guests
  • Enable Curbside Service -- When enabled, online orders can be set to "Curbside pickup" type by guest



Online Delivery Setup

In Delivery Setup panel:

  • Include Itemized Receipt -- When enabled, an itemized receipt for online deliveries will print to the receipt printer.
  • Delivery Time in Minutes -- Enter the average delivery time for orders. Along with prep-time (under Order Time Settings), delivery time is used to provide guests with delivery estimates online.
  • Delivery Minimum Order Total -- Set a minimum order total for online delivery orders
  • Set Online Hours -- Click the button as a shortcut to the Set Online Hours settings
    • View the KB on Set Online Hours for instructions.




Tableside Settings




In Tableside Settings panel:

  • Enable Tableside Service -- When enabled, customers can use their smartphone to scan a QR code at their table to link directly to your Rezku OLO webpage to order and pay.
  • QR Codes-- Choose the file type to download your QR codes
    • Download PDF -- Click here to download a print-friendly version of your QR codes that can be pasted to the tables in the restaurant.
    • Download Zip -- Download just the QR code images themselves. These can be used by your graphic designer to create custom designed cards or tents for the tables.




Order Time Settings

Settings related to online order time defaults

  • Orders Per 15 Minutes-- Set the default pacing for the number of orders to accept per-15 minute slot.
    • Orders over the limit are bumped to the next 15 minute slot, based on "first come/first served".
  • Open for Pre-Orders -- When enabled, guests can place an order for days in advance
  • Accept Orders Until Close-- Determines when online ordering becomes unavailable for the night
    • Enabled -- Online orders can be placed until closing time. This may mean pickup times are after close.
    • Disabled -- If pickup time would be after closing time, the online order cannot be placed.
  • Preorders Days In Advance -- Set the maximum number of days in advance a preorder can be made
  • Online Hours -- Click the button as a shortcut to the Set Online Hours settings




Ordering Options

In Ordering Options panel:

  • Auto Accept Online Orders -- When enabled, online orders will not require acceptance on the POS before they print to the kitchen.
  • Allow Gift Cards -- Enable use of gift cards as a payment type for orders through your Rezku OLO website.
  • Enable Pay on Pickup -- When Enabled, customers can place orders in Rezku OLO and pay when they come to pick up.
  • Enable Coupons -- Enable use of coupons at checkout for Rezku OLO
  • Email address required -- Require the guest's email address for checkout in Rezku OLO
  • Email Customer Receipt -- Email a copy of the guest's receipt for orders placed through Rezku OLO
  • Enable Loyalty -- Allow the your restaurant's loyalty program to work with online ordering.
  • Restrict to 21+ -- When Enabled, customers will be prompted to enter their birthdate to ensure they are over 21, to place an order. This is required for restaurants selling restricted products through online ordering.
  • Online Order Types-- Select the order type on the POS that online orders will come in as
    • Delivery Type -- Select the POS order type used for online delivery orders
    • Takeout Type --  Select the POS order type used for online takeout orders
  • Order Notes-- By default, guests can add notes/comments to products and orders. If you are getting too many special requests, you can disable this feature. NOTE: Third party online ordering is not affected by this setting.
    • Enable Order Notes -- When enabled (green) customers can add comments/requests to the order at checkout.
    • Enable Product Notes -- When enabled (green) customers can add comments/requests to the product notes when adding to the cart.
  • Tipping Settings-- Settings for tip suggestions based on order type. 
    • Enable Tips -- Allows tipping at checkout online and display of the following tip suggestions.
    • Recommended Pickup Tips -- Tip suggestions shown to guests for pickup orders.
    • Recommended Tableside Tips -- Tip suggestions for tableside (QR code) orders.
    • Recommended Delivery Tips -- Tip suggestions shown to guests placing delivery orders.
