Offline Mode Settings

What is Offline Mode:

  • Offline mode allows you to store credit card transaction data if the internet is down and process the transactions when internet access is restored.

Using Offline Mode:

  •  Tap the toggle switch to enable offline mode (you must complete all steps to enable offline mode)
  • NOTE: A manager's PIN is required to enter offline mode
  • Choose how long to remain in offline mode.
    • After the time limit expires the system will try to connect to the credit card servers
    • You can turn Offline Mode back on if the internet is still not available.

NOTICE: Offline Mode is designed for short term disruptions in the internet. Do not exceed 48 hours in Offline Mode.

  • After selecting the duration you will be prompted to sign for acknowledgment of the disclaimer.

  • Offline Mode is now enabled for the specified time period.

Offline History:

  • Offline history shows credit card transactions stored while in Offline Mode. Once Offline Mode expires the system will attempt to sync the transactions with the credit card server (over the internet).
    • Note the status:
      • Queued -- Has not been sent to the credit card processor
      • Sent -- Had been sent to the credit card processor

On the offline history page there are 4 tabs with information about credit transactions, all orders, other transactions, and misc.

  • The Other Transactions tab shows non credit transactions such as cash, gift card, external payment, etc. This is similar to the credit tab but sent will indicate that it has synced with the Rezku servers and is viewable on Back office.

  • The Misc Tab will show changes made to a completed order and whether they have synced and visible in back office. For example, if you have processed a refund while in Offline Mode.
