Loyalty Points tie into the Discount and CRM systems. When your guests buy products they accrue points that can then be spent to unlock Discounts.
There are 4 steps to creating a complete loyalty program
Add customers to the CRM database
Create loyalty point-earning rules
Create discount presets that cost loyalty points
Apply loyalty discounts to qualifying customers on the POS
Add a Loyalty Points-Earning
TIP: You can add multiple loyalty points rules to give different points values to different products. However, you can not enter a value of less than 1 point.
Click the Add New Loyalty button on the top of the page
In the Edit Loyalty panel:
Name -- Name the loyalty program
Points Per Dollar -- Add how many points guests earn per dollar spent for selected products
Points Per Product -- Add how many points guests earn per product selected
Choosing Loyalty Products
To apply points-earning rules to products:
Click the Choose Products button next to the loyalty points preset
In the Choose Products panel, use the toggles to select the products and menus points will be applied.
TIP: Remember to add points to new products that are added to the menu
Add Loyalty Point Cost to Discounts
We've established how points are earned, but to spend points we need to create a discount preset that costs points. Here are the steps to add loyalty points to a discount preset. For detailed instructions on how to create a discount preset from scratch, please review the KB article on discount presets.
In the Back Office go to Promotions > Discount Presets
Click the Add New Discount to create a new preset, or the Edit Details button next to an existing discount preset.
