Fees




Fee settings allow you to set up various fees that can be applied to orders, including delivery fees with zones. Fees can be applied automatically based on qualifying order or manually on the POS under New Order > More > Fees.


To Add Fees

  • To add a fee, click the Add Fee button.
    • In the Edit Fee panel:
      • Fee Name -- Name the fee as it will appear across the system
      • Type-- Select the fee type. Once a fee is saved with the selected type, it can not be changed.
        • Product -- Choose for per-product fees.
        • Fixed Fee -- Fee is a flat dollar amount applied to the order.
        • Relative Fee -- Fee is a percent of the order total applied to the order.
      • $ / % -- (Order fees only) Enter the fee amount, either a dollar amount or percent, based on the fee type.
      • Order Type -- Choose the order types this fee will automatically apply to. Blue is selected, grey is deselected.
      • Taxes -- Use the toggle to select a tax to apply to this fee. Taxes are added in Product Management > Product Taxes


To edit or delete a saved fee, click the Edit Details button next to the fee name.

NOTE: Fees must be saved before a delivery zone can be added to the fee. Delivery zones are not required to use fees.

Managing Fees

Once a fee has been saved, it will be in the list.

  • Name -- The fee name.
  • Type -- The fee type (Product, Fixed or Relative).
  • Amount -- The fee amount charged (order fees only).
  • Three Dots-- Click here to edit the fee.
    • Edit Details -- Edit properties of the fee.
    • Set Prices -- Set products and fees for individual products.
    • Set Delivery Area -- Define an area for delivery fees.

Set Prices (Product Fee)

Click the three dots next to the product fee and choose Set Prices. Here you can choose a fee to apply to groups of products.


Click the Add Price button to add a new product fee group.

  • Amount -- Enter the fee amount and click Save
  • Products -- Click the Set Products button to choose products to apply this fee.
    • In the product selection panel, toggle on the menus or products to apply the fee to.
    • Click the arrow next to a menu to view the products within it.
    • Click Save to save your selections.
  • Trash Can -- Click to delete the product fee group.

Click the Save button to save your settings.

Delivery Zones

Multiple fee zones can be created with overlapping areas to apply fees based on distance from the restaurant automatically.

To add a delivery to a saved fee, click the Set Delivery Area button.

  • In Edit Delivery Area:
    • Reset Delivery Area -- Click to reset or initialize a delivery area to be defined
    • Delete Delivery Area -- Click to delete the existing delivery area and start over
    • Fee Color -- Click the color chip to choose a color for the fee zone on the map. This helps when defining multiple fee areas.
    • Fee Zone (Map) -- Move the vertex (white) points on the initial fee zone to create a shape that defines the fee area. Right click a vertex to delete it.
