Bar-Code Scanner (Socket Mobile)
Rezku POS supports the Socket Mobile Bluetooth Barcode Scanner. This scanner can be used to speed up checkout on products with barcodes. It can also be used to with Gift Cards or any loyalty card that has a barcode to quickly lookup guests in the CRM.
Setup and Installation
Testing the Barcode Scanner
- Open the Rezku POS app and tap the settings (gear) icon on the top left of the Rezku POS app.
- In settings, tap the Test button next to Barcode Scanner.
- To test, scan any barcode. The barcode information should appear in the test window. Your scanner is now ready for use.
Using Barcodes with Products
To use the bar code scanner, first you must associate the UPC code with the desired product.
- In Back Office, go to Product Management > Menu Design and navigate to the desired product
- Click the product and in the product properties popup list, select Edit Basics.
- In the Edit Product panel, scroll to Barcode Number
- Enter the barcode number from the packaging, just below the barcode.
